Cast:
Jenny lives on a farm and is working as an actress at a theatre in Kentucky.
Laura works at the same theatre, but is from New York City. Jenny and Laura are fast friends.
Setting:
The Green Room of the theatre.
Jenny: (Entering excitedly when she sees her friend, Laura for the first time the day) Hey Laura, guess what?! I opened my front door this morning and there was a flyer on my porch!
Laura: (Seated at a table, enjoying breakfast sandwich from the Arby’s across the street) Yeah? Who was it from?
Jenny: I don’t know, it was just there.
Laura: It didn’t say who it was from?
Jenny: Nope. Just a flyer. No name, no nothing.
Laura: That’s weird.
Jenny: Thanks a lot. Aren’t you curious?
Laura: Not really. Was it from a restaurant?
Jenny: (Thinks a minute. Compensates for who she’s talking to.) FLOWER, Laura. Somebody left a FLOWER on my porch.
Laura: (Realizing) Ohhhhhhhh! Who was it FROM!??
Jenny: (Rolls eyes. Exits)
